I am an animal lover, presently living with two lurcher dogs. All animals are beautiful and trying to capture their characters is something challenging and rewarding, when you get it right. I strive for this in every painting.

My obsession with Animals continues and it is my intention to paint more for animal lovers around the world.

I just had to paint this Black Beauty, as a tribute to Anna Sewell, with my surname! I had not attempted to paint a moving animal before.

Friends from Torridon regularly feed an old stag in Glen Docherty and I imagine this to be him in his prime.

I took this from the original painting and imagined how it would feel in Africa, hence the warm colours.
